Agreement on Works on Aggloremation of Slatina Signed

The signing ceremony of the Agreement on works on construction and reconstruction of water supply and drainage system of Slatina agglomeration between Komrad as a project beneficiary and the contractor, the Turkish community of bidders ERSA INSAAT PROJE TURIZM SANAYI VETICARET A.S. i KARAS ALTYAPI INSAAT TICARET ANONIM SIRKETI. The agreement was signed by the representative of the contractor Bülent Saruhan Sarayli and the director of Komrad Mato Miličić.

The works under this agreement are worth slightly more than 137.5 million kuna and represent the largest segment of the Slatina Agglomeration project, which includes the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of water and communal infrastructure in Slatina and seven suburbs. The project includes the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of 62 kilometers of sewerage network, construction and reconstruction of 12 kilometers of water supply network, construction of preparation for 2071 house connection to the sewerage system, construction of four rain spills and 33 pumping stations. Also, a new water reservoir with a capacity of one thousand cubic meters will be built and preparations will be made for 989 house connections to the water supply network.

The Slatina agglomeration is one of 60 agglomeration projects in Croatia, with a total value of more than HRK 25 billion. In Virovitica-Podravina County alone, three projects (Virovitica, Pitomača, Slatina) are being implemented in the amount of HRK 693 million. One of the technical indicators of the project is the reduction of losses in the public water supply system from the current about 50 percent to an acceptable 25 percent, almost 98 percent of citizens in the agglomeration will be connected to the public sewerage system, all will be able to connect to the water supply system. percent of citizens in the entire distribution area will be connected to the public water supply system.

Promising that ERSA will successfully finalize the project in accordance with the signed agreement, Saruhan Sarayli offered the cooperation of the Slatina City Council with the Bahçelievler City Council in the field of cultural and technical knowledge and experience. Turkish Ambassador to Croatia Mustafa Babur Hizlan thanked the Croatian authorities for the trust in the Turkish company and announced the recent realization of bilateral trade between the two countries in the amount of one billion US dollars.

Of the total value of the Slatina Agglomeration project (HRK 266.5 million), the eligible costs amount to HRK 213.4 million, of which HRK 152.5 million are non-refundable EU funds from the Operational Program “Competitiveness and Cohesion” 2014-2020. The remaining 60.8 HRK million in the project will be provided by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy and Croatian Waters (HRK 26.3 million each) and the City of Slatina (HRK 8.1 million).
